"Maine was once a place where there were opportunities to work hard and build a good life for your family. It didn't matter if you lived in Portland, Lewiston, Millinocket, or Fort Kent. But, we have lost our way as a state. The opportunity to work hard and get ahead no longer exists for so many people in our state. We need to pull together and start turning things around."
Jim founded the environmental consulting company Boyle Associates in 1996. He ran the Westbrook-based small business for 21 years, working with Maine companies to create jobs and protect the environment. He is the father to two grown children and lives in Gorham with his wife, Sue Durst.
